    Characteristics

This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-ACP6 antibody (Catalog #: ARP48363_P050). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.

  • Target

    ACP6 (Acid Phosphatase 6, Lysophosphatidic (ACP6))

    Background

ACP6 could hydrolyze lysophosphatidic acid to monoacylglycerol. It was originally reported to be located in the mitochondrion, but the evidence seems to be weak and contradictory with the presence of a cleaved signal sequence. Western blots using two different antibodies against two unique regions of this protein target confirm the same apparent molecular weight in our tests.
