- Background
- PAK4 is a member of the group B family of p21-activated kinases (PAK). It's identified as an effector protein for cell division cycle 42(Cdc42) and protein that play an important role in regulating cytoskeletal organization and cell morphology. Its expression is elevated in many cancer cell lines, and suggested that it plays an important role in tumorigenesis. Recombinant PAK4 protein was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Synonyms: p21 protein (Cdc42/Rac)-activated kinase 4, Serine/threonine-protein kinase, PAK 4, p21 activated kinase 4 isoform 1, p21-activated kinase 4 isoform 1 KIAA1142, p21 activated kinase 4, p21(CDKN1A) activated kinase 4, Protein kinase related to S.cerevisiae STE20 effector for Cdc42Hs, Serine threonine kinase PAK 4, Serine/threonine protein kinase PAK 4, Serine/threonine protein kinase PAK4.
