- Background
- RRAS, also known as ras-related protein R-Ras, belongs to the Ras family which functions in signal transduction pathways. This protein has been shown to interact with RASSF5, NCK1, Bcl-2, ARAF and RALGDS. RRAS can bind GTP and GDP, and it has intrinsic GTPase activity. It also regulates the organization of the actin cytoskeleton. Recombinant RRAS protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. Synonyms: , Ras-related protein R-Ras C86394, Oncogene RRAS2, Oncogene TC21, Ras like protein TC21, Ras related protein R Ras2, Related RAS viral (r ras) oncogene homolog 2, Related RAS viral oncogene homolog 2, RRAS 2, TC 21, TC21, Teratocarcinoma oncogene, Teratocarcinoma oncogene TC21.
