Format: Lyophilized

Reconstitution: Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. It is recommended to resuspend at 0.5 mg/mL if the lyophilized powder is 100 μg or less, at 1 mg/mL for 500 μg or 1 mg lyophilized powder. Do not mix by vortex or vigorous shaking.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS ( pH 7.4). Normally 8 % trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

Background: IL-21 and IL-21R were highly expressed in the lesional skin and peripheral blood of psoriasis patients. IL-21 promoted CD4 T cells proliferation and Th17 cells differentiation and inhibiting Treg cells differentiation by upregulating RORγt expression and downregulating Foxp3 expression, with increased expression and secretion of IL-17A and IL-22.Microbial translocation and the associated immune activation during HIV-1 infection may lead to high expression levels of the IL-21R activation marker in RM B cells, a feature associated with increased apoptosis and a reduced number of these cells in the circulation.

Molecular Weight: 51.8 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 60-70 kDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result.
