Purification tag / Conjugate
- This PLAU protein is labelled with Biotin,His-Avi Tag.
-
Purpose
- Biotinylated Human PLAU/uPA Protein (active form)
-
Sequence
- Ser21-Leu431
-
Characteristics
- Recombinant Biotinylated Human PLAU/uPA Protein (active form) is expressed from HEK293 with His tag and Avi tag at the C-Terminus.It contains Ser21-Leu431, which consists of two chains: Long chain A (Ser21-Phe177) and chain B (Ile179-Leu 431). The long chain A is further cleaved to yield a short chain A (Lys156-Phe 177) and N-Terminus fragment (Ser21-Lys155).
-
Sterility
- 0.22 μm filtered
-
Endotoxin Level
- Less than 1 EU per ug by the LAL method.
-
Biological Activity Comment
- Biotinylated Human PLAU on Bis-Tris PAGE under reduced condition. The purity is greater than 95%.,Measured by its ability to cleave a peptide substrate, N-carbobenzyloxy-Gly-Gly-Arg-7-amido-4-methylcoumarin (Z-GGR-AMC). The specific activity is >1200 pmol/min/ug.

Format
- Lyophilized
-
Reconstitution
- Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 20 mM NaAc, 150 mM NaCl ( pH 5.0). It is recommended to resuspend at 0.5 mg/mL if the lyophilized powder is 100 μg or less, at 1 mg/mL for 500 μg or 1 mg lyophilized powder. Do not mix by vortex or vigorous shaking.
-
Buffer
- Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in 20 mM NaAc, 150 mM NaCl ( pH 5.0). Normally 8 % trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
-
Storage
- -20 °C,-80 °C
-
Storage Comment
- -20 to -80°C for 12 months as supplied from date of receipt.,-80°C for 3 months after reconstitution.,Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please minimize freeze-thaw cycles.

- PLAU (Plasminogen Activator, Urokinase (PLAU))
-
Alternative Name
- PLAU
-
Background
- Plasminogen activator, urokinase (uPA) is a secreted serine protease whose Dysregulation is often accompanied by various cancers. PLAU inhibition could suppress tumor growth. Collectively, PLAU is necessary for tumor progression and can be a diagnostic and prognostic biomarker in HNSCC.
-
Molecular Weight
- 49.3 kDa. Due to protein lysis and glycosylation, the protein migrates to 23-27 kDa, 35-40 kDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result.
