The purity is greater than 95%.,Measured by its ability to induce Topflash reporter activity in HEK293T human embryonic kidney cells. The ED50 for this effect is 2 - 20 ng/mL in the presence of 5 ng/mL recombinant Human Wnt Surrogate-Fc Fusion (WNT-HM23A) (QC Test).

Format: Lyophilized

Reconstitution: Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 20 mM MES, 150 mM NaCl, 200 mM Arginine ( pH 5.5). It is recommended to resuspend at 0.5 mg/mL if the lyophilized powder is 100 μg or less, at 1 mg/mL for 500 μg or 1 mg lyophilized powder. Do not mix by vortex or vigorous shaking. It is recommended to resuspend at 0.5 mg/mL if the lyophilized powder is 100 μg or less, at 1 mg/mL for 500 μg or 1 mg lyophilized powder. Do not mix by vortex or vigorous shaking.

Buffer: Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in 20 mM MES, 150 mM NaCl, 200 mM Arginine ( pH 5.5). Normally 8 % trehalose / 8 % mannitol is added as protectant before lyophilization.

Background: The R-spondins are members of a superfamily of thrombospondin type 1 repeat (TSR-1)-containing proteins. The prototype member (discovered in 1971) was isolated from platelets that had been stimulated with thrombin, and was therefore designated 'thrombin-sensitive protein.
