-
Specificity
- Toxin target: p75 neurotrophin receptor (p75NTR) and VPS10 domain-containing receptors (Sortilin and SorCS2)
-
Endotoxin Level
- <0.1 EU per 1 μg of the protein by the LAL method.
-
Biological Activity Comment
- proNGF is the preferred ligand of p75NTR 1. In contrast to its mature form proNGF induces apoptosis via p75NTR 1, but can also mediate cell survival in DRGs2.

Application Notes
- Antigen Preadsorption Control: 0.4 - 4 nM
-
Restrictions
- For Research Use only
-
-
-
Format
- Lyophilized
-
Reconstitution
- Centrifuge the vial at 10,000 x g for 5 minutes before opening to ensure all material is collected at the bottom. The lyophilized product may be difficult to visualize. Add solvent directly to the centrifuged vial and dissolve by gently tapping, tilting, or rolling the vial. Avoid vigorous vortexing, a brief, light vortex of 1-2 seconds is acceptable if necessary. Reconstitute in sterile, high-purity water at a concentration of at least 0.1 mg/mL. For long-term storage, aliquot the solution into small, single-use vials and store at -20 °C. Before use, thaw the relevant vial(s) and dilute to the desired working concentration in your working buffer. Centrifuge all product preparations before use. It is recommended to prepare fresh working solutions just before use. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles to maintain optimal biological activity.

Buffer
- Lyophilized from double distilled water (ddH2O). May contain residual trifluoroacetate (TFA).
