Parainfluenza Virus Type 2 (strain Greer) is cultivated in cell culture (Vero or MDCK cells) and purified by extraction in combination with ultra-centrifugation (Parainfluenza Virus Type 2). Native antigens are suitable for the detection of IgG and IgA antibodies against Parainfluenza.
