Background: Cytochrome P450 2C29 (EC 1.14.14.1) (Aldehyde oxygenase) (CYPIIC29) (Cytochrome P-450 MUT-2),FUNCTION: A cytochrome P450 monooxygenase that selectively catalyzes the epoxidation of 14,15 double bond of (5Z,8Z,11Z,14Z)-eicosatetraenoic acid (arachidonate) forming 14,15-epoxyeicosatrienoic acid (14,15-EET) regioisomer.
