Protein Production: Nucleobindin-2 CHO-S (NUCB2, UniProt # G3IF52) with a 6xHIS tag was expressed in CHO-S cells and purified by nickel affinity chromatography.
Migration Behaviour: Under reducing conditions, CHO NUCB2 is detected at 3 bands with estimated molecular weight of ~56, 53 and 15 kDa due to in vivo process such as caspase mediated cleavage. Its concentration is determined using a Bradford protein assay BSA standard curve and A280 (with Extinction Coefficients 0.51).
