Background
-
Protein Background: YWHAH (14-3-3 protein eta) is a adapter protein. Implicated in the regulation of a large spectrum of both general and specialized signaling pathways. Binds to a large number of partners, usually by recognition of a phosphoserine or phosphothreonine motif. Binding generally results in the modulation of the activity of the binding partner. Negatively regulates the kinase activity of PDPK1.
Short Description: Recombinant YWHAH protein that includes full length of human YWHAH protein (accession number NP_003396.1) was expressed in E. coli and contains an N-terminal His tag with a molecular weight of 30.38 kDa. The purity of the protein is ≥ 95 % by SDS-PAGE.
Aliases: 14-3-3 protein eta, YWHA1, Protein AS1
