Background
-
Protein Background: Protein ADP-ribosylation is a highly dynamic post-translational modification. The rapid turnover is achieved, among others, by ADP-(ribosyl)hydrolases (ARHs), an ancient family of enzymes that reverses this modification. Recently ARHs came into focus due to their role as regulators of cellular stresses and tumor suppressors.ADPRH / ARH1 (ADPribosylhydrolase ARH1) as one of ARHs.specifically acts as an arginine mono-ADP-ribosylhydrolase by mediating the removal of mono-ADP-ribose attached to arginine residues on proteins.
Short Description: Recombinant ADPRH / ARH1 protein that includes full length of the human ADPRH / ARH1 protein (accession number NP_001116.1) was expressed in E.coli cells with an C-terminal His tag, The molecular weight of the protein is 40.57 kDa.
Aliases: ADP-ribosylarginine hydrolase
