antibodies-online Impact Scholarship
At antibodies-online, we believe that the future of life science depends on students who can think boldly, communicate clearly, and bring fresh ideas to the field. In partnership with Rockland Immunochemicals, Inc., we’ve brought this scholarship into the Joy Cappel Scholars Network , a shared initiative designed to support students and emerging scientists at every stage of their growth.
Each year, two students in the United States are selected to receive a one-thousand-dollar stipend through the Impact Scholarship. This award recognizes applicants who demonstrate the potential to make a positive and lasting impact on the life sciences, whether through research interests, community engagement, or creative approaches to explaining science.
By joining the Joy Cappel community, which also includes the Joy Cappel Innovation Scholarship and the Joy Cappel Young Investigator Award, recipients receive a growing set of opportunities alongside other students and emerging scientists to learn, connect, and advance their scientific careers.
Scholarship Details
- Must be a high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student currently accepted or enrolled at a college or university in the United States for the upcoming fall or spring term. That means that you chose a college or university, applied, and were accepted.
- Intended major must be in Life Sciences or a related field
- Video length should be around 30 seconds
- Prompt: In around 30 seconds, describe a real moment, in the lab, classroom, or your daily life, that changed the way you think about science. What happened, and what did you learn from it?
Application Deadline
Deadline to submit an application is February 3rd and August 3rd of the current year. A winner will be selected and notified within two weeks after the application deadline. A check will then be sent directly to the university provided in the application.
