Application Details

Application Notes: Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot), ELISA, Immunoperoxidase electronmicroscopy and Immunohistochemistry as well as other peroxidase-antibody basedenzymatic assays requiring lot-to-lot consistency. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1/10,000-1/50,000. Western blot: 1/1,000-1/5,000.

Other applications not tested.
Otimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Handling

Reconstitution: Restore with 1.0 mL of deionized water or equivalent.

Concentration: 1.0 mg/mL

Buffer: 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2, with 10 mg/mL BSA (IgG and Protease free) as stabilizer and 0.01 % (w/v) Thimerisol as preservative.

Preservative: Thimerosal (Merthiolate)

Precaution of Use: Biohazard Informations: This product contains thimerosal which is hazardous.

Handling Advice: Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Dilute only prior to immediate use
Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
Do NOT add Sodium Azide! Use of Sodium Azide will inhibit enzyme activity of horseradish peroxidase.

Storage: 4 °C/-20 °C

Storage Comment: Store vial at 2-8 °C prior to restoration. This product is stable for one month at 2-8 °C as an undiluted liquid. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -28 °C or below.
