Cross-Reactivity (Details): Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Fluorescein, anti-Goat Serum, Ferret IgG and Ferret Serum.   No reaction was observed against Ferret IgA or Ferret IgM.   Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1 % cross reactivity against other Ferret heavy or light chain isotypes.

Characteristics: Anti-Ferret IgM antibody specifically detects ferret IgM.

Purification: This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Ferret IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities.
