Metallocarboxypeptidase that mediates deglutamylation of target proteins. Additionally we are shipping AGBL4 Antibodies (13) and many more products for this protein.
Showing 2 out of 2 products:
AGBL4 promoter hypermethylation is associated with Colorectal Cancer.
Nna1 and CCP4 remove the C-terminal glutamate from substrates with two or more glutamates, whereas CCP6 requires four or more glutamates. CCP4 behaves as a promiscuous glutamase with little preference for chain length or neighboring amino acid composition
study shows that Mad2 (show MXI1 Proteins) is a novel substrate for CCP6 in megakaryocytes; Mad2 (show MXI1 Proteins) polyglutamylation plays a crucial role in the regulation of megakaryopoiesis
Metallocarboxypeptidase that mediates deglutamylation of target proteins. Catalyzes the deglutamylation of polyglutamate side chains generated by post-translational polyglutamylation in proteins such as tubulins. Also removes gene-encoded polyglutamates from the carboxy-terminus of target proteins such as MYLK. Acts as a long-chain deglutamylase and specifically shortens long polyglutamate chains, while it is not able to remove the branching point glutamate, a process catalyzed by AGBL5/CCP5.
