identify an IL-17 (show IL17A Antibodies)-dependent lymphoid/myeloid cross-talk involving CD27(-) gammadelta T cells and small peritoneal macrophages that promotes ovarian tumor cell growth and thus counteracts cancer immunosurveillance
memory CD8 (show CD8A Antibodies) T cells, generated through priming with CD27 agonists, proliferated more extensively than did 4-1BB (show TNFRSF9 Antibodies)-generated memory cells, but these cells failed to persist.
the central role played by CD27/70 during secondary CD8 (show CD8A Antibodies)(+) T-cell activation to a peptide Ag, and identify sCD70 as an immunotherapeutic adjuvant for antitumor immunity.
under conditions of constitutive CD70 (show CD70 Antibodies) expression reflecting chronic immune activation, the CD27/CD70 (show CD70 Antibodies) system inhibits OC differentiation and favors DC differentiation
mTECs and DCs form dedicated niches in the thymic medulla, in which CD27-CD70 (show CD70 Antibodies) co-stimulation rescues developing Treg cells from apoptosis, subsequent to Foxp3 (show FOXP3 Antibodies) induction by TCR and CD28 (show CD28 Antibodies) signals.
The CD27 and CD70 (show CD70 Antibodies) costimulatory pathway inhibits effector function of T helper 17 cells and attenuates associated autoimmunity.

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This receptor is required for generation and long-term maintenance of T cell immunity. It binds to ligand CD70, and plays a key role in regulating B-cell activation and immunoglobulin synthesis. This receptor transduces signals that lead to the activation of NF-kappaB and MAPK8/JNK. Adaptor proteins TRAF2 and TRAF5 have been shown to mediate the signaling process of this receptor. CD27-binding protein (SIVA), a proapoptotic protein, can bind to this receptor and is thought to play an important role in the apoptosis induced by this receptor.
