CCL27 drives baseline recruitment of Herpes simplex virus-specific CD8 (show CD8A Proteins) T cells expressing CCR10 (show CCR10 Proteins), while interferon (show IFNA Proteins)-responsive CXCR3 (show CXCR3 Proteins) ligands recruit additional cells in response to virus-driven inflammation.
We therefore concluded that the cross talk between TNFa (show TNF Proteins) and ROS (show ROS1 Proteins) after keratinocytes was exposed to radiation, triggered CCL27 secretion for subsequent inflammation response.
Our study showed that a higher immunostaining of CCL27 in supratumoral epidermis is associated with longer progression-free interval and melanoma-specific survival.
Our data supports previous reports showing IL-17 (show IL17A Proteins) and -23 upregulation in association with Multiple sclerosis and potentially identify a previously unknown involvement for CCL27.
NOS2 (show NANOS2 Proteins) and CCL27: clinical implications for psoriasis and eczema diagnosis and management.
Findings support the notion that CCR10 (show CCR10 Proteins) and its ligand CCL27 may contribute to the skin infiltration of malignant T-cells in mycosis fungoides and adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma.
Our study suggests that CTACK/CCL27 may have a pivotal role in the early stage of psoriasis plaque formation, but should be downregulated in the later stage to induce inflammation characteristic for chronic psoriasis plaques
Seventeen mediators were identified in burn wound exudates (concentration range 0.0006-9 ng/mg total protein), including the skin-specific chemokine (show CCL1 Proteins) CCL27.
We show that the adult but not prenatal human keratinocytes produce and release large amounts of CCL27.
CCL27 chemokine (show CCL1 Proteins) implicates cholesteatoma keratinocytes as contributors in cholesteatoma progression.
this study shows that losartan and dexamethasone may suppress inflammatory responses in IgA nephropathy by inhibiting CCL27 expression in Th22 cells
Our in vivo analysis demonstrated that uniform expression of Ccr10 (show CCR10 Proteins) on MSCs and alteration of Ccl27 level in the skin enhance extravasation of stem cells from circulation and facilitate their migration within cutaneous tissue
We investigated the role of CCL27, a T cell skin-homing chemokine (show CCL1 Proteins) known to be elevated in sera of human AD patients, in disease development in our animal model of atopic dermatitis.
LIGHT stimulation enhances CCL27 expression through activation of NF-kappaB (show NFKB1 Proteins) in DCs.
In mice, neutralization of CCL27 led to decreased leukocyte recruitment to cutaneous tumor sites and significantly enhanced primary tumor growth.
Results indicated that CCL27 modified inflammation by attracting CCR10 (show CCR10 Proteins)-positive and CCR4 (show CCR4 Proteins)-positive cells into the lesional skin, and may participate in the pathogenesis of Th2-shifted skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis.
This gene is one of several CC cytokine genes clustered on the p-arm of chromosome 9. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The protein encoded by this gene is chemotactic for skin-associated memory T lymphocytes. This cytokine may also play a role in mediating homing of lymphocytes to cutaneous sites. It specifically binds to chemokine receptor 10 (CCR10). Studies of a similar murine protein indicate that these protein-receptor interactions have a pivotal role in T cell-mediated skin inflammation.
