More ELISA Kits for Death-Domain Associated Protein Interaction Partners

Human Death-Domain Associated Protein (DAXX) interaction partners

  1. We provide an overview of the individual components (ATRX, DAXX and/or H3.3) tested in each study and propose a model where the ATRX/DAXX chaperone complex deposits H3.3 to maintain the H3K9me3 modification at heterochromatin throughout the genome.

  2. Daxx and Atrx (show ATRX ELISA Kits) safeguard the genome by silencing repetitive elements when DNA methylation (show HELLS ELISA Kits) levels are low.

  3. Studies of the dynamics of the response of PML (show PML ELISA Kits) nuclear body components and IFI16 (show IFI16 ELISA Kits) to invading herpes simplex virus 1 genomes demonstrated that human Daxx (hDaxx) and IFI16 (show IFI16 ELISA Kits) respond more rapidly than PML (show PML ELISA Kits).

  4. identifying Daxx as a broad cellular inhibitor of reverse-transcription. Altogether, these findings unravel a novel antiviral function for PML (show PML ELISA Kits) and PML (show PML ELISA Kits) nuclear body-associated protein Daxx

  5. PML (show PML ELISA Kits), hDaxx and Sp100 (show SP100 ELISA Kits) primarily act as cellular restriction factors during lytic human cytomegalovirus replication and during the dynamic process of reactivation but do not serve as key determinants for the establishment of latency.

  6. ATRX (show ATRX ELISA Kits)- and DAXX-deficient PNETs have distinct genome-wide DNA methylation (show HELLS ELISA Kits) profiles. Loss of DAXX and not ATRX (show ATRX ELISA Kits) appears to be the driver event in altering genome-wide methylation changes in PNETs.

  7. These findings collectively support a DAXX-centric pathway for telomere maintenance, where DAXX interaction with the telomerase regulates telomerase assembly in Cajal bodies and telomerase targeting to telomeres.

  8. Knock-down of the cellular DAXX protein modulates the human papillomavirus genome replication and transcription in U2OS cells--papillomavirus replication is reduced in the absence of this component of ND10.

  9. establish DAXX as a pro-survival protein in PCa (show FLVCR1 ELISA Kits) and reveal that, in the early stages of tumorigenesis, autophagy suppresses prostate tumor formation.

  10. Daxx downregulation should be essentially needed for the increase of anti-tumor activity through enhancement of viral replication and cellular arrest with the combination of TRAIL/shBcl-xL-induced apoptosis and oncolytic adenovirus.

Mouse (Murine) Death-Domain Associated Protein (DAXX) interaction partners

  1. Daxx and Atrx (show ATRX ELISA Kits) safeguard the genome by silencing repetitive elements when DNA methylation (show HELLS ELISA Kits) levels are low.

  2. The protein levels of Daxx is reduced in Stella (show DPPA3 ELISA Kits)-null oocytes and embryos.

  3. Daxx selectively represses IL-6 (show IL6 ELISA Kits) transcription through HDAC1 (show HDAC1 ELISA Kits)-mediated histone deacetylation

  4. Overall, these data imply a regulatory role for Daxx in reovirus-induced apoptosis, depending on its location in the nucleus or cytoplasm.

  5. phosphorylation of Daxx by RIP3 (show MPRIP ELISA Kits) comprises an important part of ischemic necrosis in rat retinal ganglion cells

  6. DAXX is associated with regulatory regions of selected activity-regulated genes, where it promotes H3.3 loading upon membrane depolarization. DAXX loss not only affects H3.3 deposition but also impairs transcriptional induction of these genes.

  7. Daxx, a HIPK kinase substrate in the apoptosis pathway, was phosphorylated by HIPK3 (show HIPK3 ELISA Kits) at Ser (show SIGLEC1 ELISA Kits)-669 in response to cAMP stimulation.

  8. Neither Daxx nor PML (show PML ELISA Kits), the main players of ND10-based immunity, are required for the block to viral gene expression in the S/G2 (show STRN3 ELISA Kits) phase.

  9. HIRA (show HIRA ELISA Kits) interacts with H3.3/H4 in the absence of Daxx.

  10. Both Daxx and macrophage Ste20-like kinase (MST)1 (show STK4 ELISA Kits) are key mediators of microglial cell death induced by the proinflammatory cytokine interferon (IFN)-gamma (show IFNA ELISA Kits).

Death-Domain Associated Protein (DAXX) Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

This gene encodes a multifunctional protein that resides in multiple locations in the nucleus and in the cytoplasm. It interacts with a wide variety of proteins, such as apoptosis antigen Fas, centromere protein C, and transcription factor erythroblastosis virus E26 oncogene homolog 1. In the nucleus, the encoded protein functions as a potent transcription repressor that binds to sumoylated transcription factors. Its repression can be relieved by the sequestration of this protein into promyelocytic leukemia nuclear bodies or nucleoli. This protein also associates with centromeres in G2 phase. In the cytoplasm, the encoded protein may function to regulate apoptosis. The subcellular localization and function of this protein are modulated by post-translational modifications, including sumoylation, phosphorylation and polyubiquitination. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
