Human Monoclonal DUSP5 Primary Antibody for IF, ELISA - ABIN560667
Fan, Geurts, Pabbidi, Smith, Harder, Jacob, Roman: Zinc-finger nuclease knockout of dual-specificity protein phosphatase-5 enhances the myogenic response and autoregulation of cerebral blood flow in FHH.1BN rats. in PLoS ONE 2014
Dusp-5 and Snrk-1 control an (show SNRK Antibodies)gioblast populations in the lateral plate mesoderm with Dusp-5 functioning downstream of Snrk-1
Results show that DUSP5 and DUSP6 (show DUSP6 Antibodies) mRNA are overexpressed in human PTCs, especially in BRAFV600E mutated papillary thyroid carcinomas (PTCs), and positively control cell migration and invasion.
role of the secondary binding site in assembling the DUSP5-pERK (show EIF2AK3 Antibodies) pre-reactive complex was further demonstrated by molecular dynamics simulations that showed that the remote C197-C219 disulfide linkage controls the structure of the secondary binding pocket based on its redox state (i.e., disulfide/dithiol) and, in turn, the enzymatic activity of DUSP5
The DUSP5 S147P protein is hypoactive compared to the DUSP5 wild-type protein.
Data indicate that cells from Burkitt's lymphoma, leukemia, neuroblastoma (show ARHGEF16 Antibodies) and Ewing sarcoma showed a higher dual-specificity phosphatase 5 pseudogene 1 (DUSP5P1)/dual specificity phosphatase 5 (DUSP5 ratio than normal cells.
DUSP1 (show DUSP1 Antibodies), DUSP4 (show DUSP4 Antibodies), and DUSP5 differentially modulate endothelial MAPK (show MAPK1 Antibodies) signaling pathways downstream of Tie-2 (show TEK Antibodies) receptors.
DUSP5 methylation may serve as a prognostic marker for gastric cancer (GC), but this requires validation in a larger set of GC samples.
Studies indicate that dual-specificity MAP kinase (show MAPK1 Antibodies) phosphatases (MKPs) DUSP6/MKP-3 (show DUSP6 Antibodies) and DUSP5 are localized in the cytoplasm and nuclear compartments.
DUSP5 and DUSP6 (show DUSP6 Antibodies) selectively control ERK (show EPHB2 Antibodies) pathway activity and proliferation.
the differential up-regulation of MKP3 (show DUSP6 Antibodies) by Ets2 (show ETS2 Antibodies) and of DUSP5 by c-Jun (show JUN Antibodies) may converge in similar functional roles for these MAP kinase (show MAPK1 Antibodies) phosphatases in the growth arrest versus proliferation decisions of breast cancer cells
In FD-Fms cells, overexpression of human DUS (show CSF1R Antibodies)P5 increased M-CSF-depende (show CSF1 Antibodies)nt proliferation & decreased differentiation. Overexpression in multipotent EGER-Fms cells increa (show CSF1 Antibodies)sed M-CSF-induced proliferation & caused granulocytic, not macrophage, differentiati (show MAPK1/3 Antibodies)on.
Dual specificity phosphatase 5 knockout (Dusp5-/- ) T cells display increased proliferation, increased apoptosis, and altered metabolic profiles, suggesting that DUSP5 is a pro-survival protein in T cells.
DUSP5 phosphatase is regulated at the transcriptional level by the MAPK (show MAPK1 Antibodies) pathway and that serum responsive element is involved in the regulation of this early response gene.
results suggest an in vivo role for DUSP5 as a tumor suppressor by modulating the oncogenic potential of activated Ras in the epidermis
After SSH between cDNA libraries from FD-Fms (show CSF1R Antibodies) cells stimulated by M-CSF (show CSF1R Antibodies) in the presence or the absence of U0126, we isolated DUSP5. DUSP5 expression is induced by M-CSF (show CSF1R Antibodies) in various myeloid cells & acts as a specific negative-feedback regulator of ERK1/2 (show MAPK1/3 Antibodies).
proper regulation of DUSP5 activity is critical for normal immune system development, IL-2 (show IL2 Antibodies) actions, and tolerance
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the dual specificity protein phosphatase subfamily. These phosphatases inactivate their target kinases by dephosphorylating both the phosphoserine/threonine and phosphotyrosine residues. They negatively regulate members of the mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase superfamily (MAPK/ERK, SAPK/JNK, p38), which are associated with cellular proliferation and differentiation. Different members of the family of dual specificity phosphatases show distinct substrate specificities for various MAP kinases, different tissue distribution and subcellular localization, and different modes of inducibility of their expression by extracellular stimuli. This gene product inactivates ERK1, is expressed in a variety of tissues with the highest levels in pancreas and brain, and is localized in the nucleus.
