More ELISA Kits for Testis Derived Transcript (3 LIM Domains) Interaction Partners

Mouse (Murine) Testis Derived Transcript (3 LIM Domains) (TES) interaction partners

  1. zyxin (show ZYX ELISA Kits) influences focal adhesion dynamics, that it recruits Tes and that this interaction is functional in regulating cell spreading.

  2. Testin is a mammalian gene involved in coordinated orientation of hair cells in the inner ear and in the development of the female reproductive tract.

  3. TES acts as a tumor suppressor in an established model of carcinogen-induced gastric cancer

Human Testis Derived Transcript (3 LIM Domains) (TES) interaction partners

  1. VASP (show VASP ELISA Kits), zyxin (show ZYX ELISA Kits) and TES are tension-dependent members of focal adherens junctions independent of the alpha-catenin (show CTNNA1 ELISA Kits)-vinculin (show VCL ELISA Kits) module.

  2. we confirm that the TES promoter is unmethylated in normal adult and fetal tissues. Re-expression of TESTIN protein in acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells using expression plasmid transfection results in rapid cell death or cell cycle arrest.

  3. Loss of TES gene expression is associated with nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

  4. findings suggest that the TES gene is a novel tumor suppressor gene

  5. TESTIN was hypermethylated in 43.7% endometrial cancer tissues (p < 0.001). Moreover, TESTIN hypermethylation was significantly correlated with advanced tumor stage, deep myometrial invasion and lymphatic node metastasis.

  6. Downregulation of TES was associated with breast cancer.

  7. TESTIN was commonly downregulated in human endometrial carcinoma and was associated with poor prognostic markers.

  8. A further significant correlation was observed between TES downregulation and the luminal B subtype independent of survivin (show BIRC5 ELISA Kits) expression.

  9. TES, as a valuable marker of breast cancer prognosis, plays an important role in the development and progression of breast cancer. TES may be an effective novel target in breast cancer prevention and treatment.

  10. Low TES gene expression is associated with coronary artery disease.

Testis Derived Transcript (3 LIM Domains) (TES) Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

Cancer-associated chromosomal changes often involve regions containing fragile sites. This gene maps to a commom fragile site on chromosome 7q31.2 designated FRA7G. This gene is similar to mouse Testin, a testosterone-responsive gene encoding a Sertoli cell secretory protein containing three LIM domains. LIM domains are double zinc-finger motifs that mediate protein-protein interactions between transcription factors, cytoskeletal proteins and signaling proteins. This protein is a negative regulator of cell growth and may act as a tumor suppressor. This scaffold protein may also play a role in cell adhesion, cell spreading and in the reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton. Multiple protein isoforms are encoded by transcript variants of this gene.
