CSF2
Reactivity: Human
ELISA, IHC
Host: Rabbit
Polyclonal
unconjugated
Application Notes
NeutralizationTo yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of mGM-CSF (0.60 ng/mL), a oncentration of 0.012-0.02 μg/mL of this antibody is required. ELISAIndirect: To detect Mouse GM-CSF by indirect ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) aconcentration of 0.5-2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purifiedantibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of atleast 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant Mouse GM-CSF. Sandwich: To detect mGM-CSF by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) aconcentration of 0.5-2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purifiedantibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Murine GM-CSF (PP003B1 or PP003B2) as adetection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinantmGM-CSF. Western Blot: To detect Mouse GM-CSF by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at aconcentration of 0.1-0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagentsthe detection limit for recombinant mGM-CSF is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing ornon-reducing conditions.

The cytokine GM-CSF stimulates the growth and differentiation of hematopoietic precursor cells from various lineages, including granulocytes, macrophages, eosinophils and erythrocytes. Used in myeloid reconstitution following bone marrow transplant, bone marrow transplant engraftment failure or delay, mobilization and following transplantation of autologous peripheral blood progenitor cells, and following induction chemotherapy in older adults with acute myelogenous leukemia.Synonyms: CSF2, Colony stimulating factor 2, GMCSF, Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor, Molgramostin, Sargramostim
