Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against purified and partially purified Esterase [Porcine Liver]. Cross reactivity against Esterase from other tissues and species may occur but have not been specifically determined.
Purification
Prepared from monospecific antiserum by a delipidation and defibrination.

Application Notes
Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot), ELISA, Immunoprecipitation and mostimmunological methods requiring high titer and specificity. Recommended Dilutions: This product has been assayed against 1.0 μg of Esterase[Porcine Liver] in a standard sandwich ELISA using Peroxidase conjugated Affinity Purifiedanti-Rabbit IgG [H&L] (Goat) and ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonicacid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1: 8,000 to1: 40,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
