Clone 1-2B6
Isotype IgG1
Characteristics The antibody detects: Human CD62E/E-selectin
Purification Ion exchange.
Alternative Name CD62E/E-selectin (SELE Antibody Abstract)
Background CD62E represents the 100-110 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein E-selectin, also known as endothelial-leukocyte adhesion molecule-1 (ELAM-1). It is expressed on cytokine-stimulated endothelium, weakly on unactivated endothelium, and is absent on leukocytes. Like other selectins, CD62E is an adhesion molecule that contributes to the initial attachment and rolling of leukocytes on endothelial surfaces, a prerequisite for leukocyte extravasation into tissues.
Application Notes Working Dilution:
FACS: 10 µL/10^6 cells
Representative data are included in this product insert.

Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.

Restrictions For Research Use only
Buffer Product is supplied as 100 tests in 1.0 mL of PBS / NaN3 and a stabilizing agent.
Preservative Sodium azide
Precaution of Use WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
Handling Advice Do not freeze!
Protect conjugated products from light.

Each reagent is stable for the period shown on the bottle label if stored as directed.
Storage 4 °C
