-
Conjugate
- This C-JUN antibody is un-conjugated
-
Application
- Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
- Specificity
- Rabbit Anti-c-Jun (Phospho-Ser243) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of c-Jun only when phosphorylated at serine 243.
- Characteristics
- Molecular Weight: Predicted Band Size 43 kDa, Observed Band Size 38 kDa
- Purification
- The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against nonphosphopeptide is removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
- Immunogen
- Synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human c-Jun around pSer243 (P-L-SP-P-I)

IHC: 1:50-1:100 - Restrictions
- For Research Use only
-
- Concentration
- 1 mg/mL
- Buffer
- phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 0.02 % sodium azide, and 50 % glycerol
- Preservative
- Sodium azide
- Precaution of Use
- WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
- Handling Advice
-
Briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container's cap because small volumes of antibody will occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. - Storage
- -20 °C
- Storage Comment
- Store the anitbody at -20 °C. It will remain stable for one year if stored properly.
