Specificity This antibody is expected to recognise both reported isoforms (NP_542166.1, NP_056357.1). Human, Mouse, Dog
Purification Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Alternative Name RENT2 / UPF2
Background All names and symbols: UPF2, UPF2 regulator of nonsense transcripts homolog (yeast), HGNC:17854, DKFZP434D222, HUPF2, KIAA1408, RENT2 , OTTHUMP00000045025, UPF2 regulator of nonsense transcripts homolog, regulator of nonsense transcripts 2, yeast Upf2p homolog. Official Symbol: UPF2. RefSeq number(s): NP_542166.1, NP_056357.1
Gene ID 26019
Application Notes Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:4,000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments in Human HeLa lysates gave no specific signal but low background (at antibody concentration up to 1µg/ml). We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates?
