Clone RB12736
Isotype Ig
Specificity This EGFR antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding S1070 of human EGFR.
Purification This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Alternative Name EGFR
Background The epidermal growth factor receptor is the cell-surface receptor for members of the epidermal growth factor family (EGF-family) of extracellular protein ligands. The epidermal growth factor receptor is a member of the ErbB family of receptors, a subfamily of four closely related receptor tyrosine kinases: EGFR (ErbB-1), HER2/c-neu (ErbB-2), Her 3 (ErbB-3) and Her 4 (ErbB-4). Mutations affecting EGFR expression or activity could result in cancer.
Synonyms: Receptor protein-tyrosine kinase ErbB-1, EGFR

anti-Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) (AA 1048-1077), (Ser1070) antibody Western blot analysis of anti-EGFR Antibody (S1070) (ABIN391943) in kidney heart tissue lysates (35 µg/lane). EGFR(arrow) was detected using the purified polyclonal antibody.
anti-Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) (AA 1048-1077), (Ser1070) antibody (2) Western blot analysis of EGFR (arrow) in Hela cell lysates, either induced (Lane 1) or noninduced with EGF (Lane 2).(1:250)
anti-Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) (AA 1048-1077), (Ser1070) antibody (3) Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocarcinoma tissue reacted with EGFR Antibody (S1070), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining.
