Description

PCNA, or Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen, is an auxiliary protein of DNA polymerase deltaand is involved in the control of eukaryotic DNA replication by increasing the polymerase'sprocessibility during elongation of the leading strand. PCNA is a nuclear protein.
