This Tyrosine Hydroxylase antibody is un-conjugated
Application
Immunofluorescence (IF)
Specificity
Antibody AP09482PU detects endogenous levels of Tyrosine Hydroxylase only when phosphorylated at Serine 19.
Purification
Immunoaffinity Chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human Tyrosine Hydroxylase around the phosphorylation site of Serine19 (A-V-Sp-E-Q).

Tyrosine hydroxylase is involved in the conversion of tyrosine to dopamine. As the rate-limiting enzyme in the synthesis of catecholamines, tyrosine hydroxylase has a key role in the physiology of adrenergic neurons. Tyrosine hydroxylase is regularly used as a marker for dopaminergic neurons, which is particularly relevant for research into Parkinson's diseaseSynonyms: TYH, Tyrosine 3-hydroxylase
