|Alternative Name||Caspase-10 (CASP10 Antibody Abstract)|
Caspases are a family of cytosolic aspartate-specific cysteine proteases involved in theinitiation and execution of apoptosis. Caspase-10 (MCH4, FLICE2) is one of the initiatorcaspases (1,2), and is localized to various tissues. Pro-caspase-10 has two deatheffector domains (DEDs) that bind FADD and recruits both TNFR1 and CD95 to formcomplexes with these receptors and induce apoptosis (1,2). This death domain complexcleaves pro-caspase-10 into a large active fragment and a small fragment. Cleavedcaspase-10 leads to the processing of caspase-3 and caspase-7, initiating a caspasecascade and subsequent apoptosis (3,4). It has been shown that the Caspase-10protein is not produced in neither mouse nor rat (5). Alternate Names: anti-Apoptosis related cysteine peptidase antibody, anti-Apoptotic protease Mch 4antibody, anti-Apoptotic protease Mch4 antibody, anti-CASP 10 antibody, anti-CASP10antibody, anti-Caspase 10 antibody, anti-FAS associated death domain proteininterleukin 1B converting enzyme 2 antibody, anti-FLICE2 antibody, anti-ICE likeapoptotic protease 4 antibody.

|Buffer||PBS 49 % , Glycerol 50 % , BSA 0.05 % , Sodium Azide|
|Precaution of Use||WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.|
