More ELISA Kits for Filamin A Interaction Partners

Zebrafish Filamin A, alpha (FLNA) interaction partners

  1. Knockdown of filamin A or vimentin (show VIM ELISA Kits) in normal cells profoundly suppresses apical extrusion of the neighbouring transformed cells.

Fruit Fly (Drosophila melanogaster) Filamin A, alpha (FLNA) interaction partners

  1. study identifies Cher as a new target of JNK (show MAPK8 ELISA Kits) signaling that links cytoskeleton dynamics to tumor progression.

  2. Data indicate that during embryonic development, the expression of Filamin and Ten-m partially overlap in ectodermal cells.

  3. Filamin is required for ovarian follicle cell motility during oogenesis.

Human Filamin A, alpha (FLNA) interaction partners

  1. FLNA can function as a modulator of chemosensitivity to docetaxel in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) cells through regulation of the MAPK/ERK (show MAPK1 ELISA Kits) pathway both in vitro and in vivo. FLNA may serve as a novel therapeutic target for improvement of chemotherapy efficacy in TNBC.

  2. Results indicate that mTORC2 (show CRTC2 ELISA Kits) regulates filamin A-dependent focal adhesions and cell migration.

  3. the actin-binding protein filamin-A has a critical role in incorporation of Tissue factor (show F3 ELISA Kits) into extracellular vesicles and secretion of extracellular vesicles from ovarian cancer cells exposed to hypoxia

  4. The syndrome affecting the family shares phenotypic overlap with other syndromes caused by FLNA mutations, but appears to be a distinct phenotype, likely representing a unique genetic syndrome.

  5. The findings in these cases are distinct from previously described FLNA related disorders by virtue of decreased joint mobility and spontaneous keloid scarring. They occur in association with a novel mutation and represent a novel genetic syndrome.

  6. FLNA gene mutation analysis was performed in a series of 10 fetuses and a neonatally deceased newborn displaying a multiple congenital anomalies syndrome suggestive of otopalatodigital spectrum disorders.

  7. This study expands the diversity of the phenotypes associated with loss-of-function mutations in FLNA.

  8. Filamin-A is required to mediate SSTR2 (show SSTR2 ELISA Kits) effects in pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours

  9. The function of different integrins is subjected to differential regulation by FLNa.

  10. FLNA functions as a positive cellular transducer linking actin polymerization to MKL1 (show MKL1 ELISA Kits)-SRF activity, counteracting the known repressive complex of MKL1 (show MKL1 ELISA Kits) and monomeric G-actin (show ACTB ELISA Kits).

Pig (Porcine) Filamin A, alpha (FLNA) interaction partners

  1. filamin reduces ENaC (show SCNN1A ELISA Kits) channel function through direct interaction on the cell surface

Mouse (Murine) Filamin A, alpha (FLNA) interaction partners

  1. FlnA is a critical upstream element of the signaling cascade underlying the myogenic tone.

  2. Bones lacking filamin A are protected from estrogen-mediated post-menopausal osteoporosis

  3. findings suggest a model in which filamin A local translation following axon injury controls localized HDAC5 (show HDAC5 ELISA Kits) activity to promote axon regeneration.

  4. Deletion of filamin A in endothelial cells aggravated myocardial infarction-induced left ventricle dysfunction and cardiac failure as a result of defective endothelial response

  5. A new signaling set, phosphatidic acid-S6K1-FLNA-actin, sheds light into the morphogenic pathway of cytoskeletal structures that are crucial for adhesion and cell locomotion during inflammation and metastasis.

  6. Filamin-A is associated with neutrophil uropod retraction.

  7. Analysis of editing in the filamin A encoding mRNA shows very high editing levels outside the nervous system; further shows FLNA editing is mainly achieved by ADAR2 (show ADARB1 ELISA Kits) but that in some cases ADAR1 (show ADAR ELISA Kits) can efficiently compensate for ADAR2 (show ADARB1 ELISA Kits).

  8. Filamin a, b-interacting proteins, Cfm1 and Cfm2, are essential for the formation of cartilaginous skeleton.

  9. a major function of FLNa in modulating ion channel abundance and membrane trafficking in neurons, thereby shaping their biophysical properties and function.

  10. FLNA, a large cytoskeletal actin-binding protein (show PFN1 ELISA Kits), physically interacts with HIF-1alpha (show HIF1A ELISA Kits) and promotes tumor growth and angiogenesis.

Filamin A (FLNA) Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

The protein encoded by this gene is an actin-binding protein that crosslinks actin filaments and links actin filaments to membrane glycoproteins. The encoded protein is involved in remodeling the cytoskeleton to effect changes in cell shape and migration. This protein interacts with integrins, transmembrane receptor complexes, and second messengers. Defects in this gene are a cause of several syndromes, including periventricular nodular heterotopias (PVNH1, PVNH4), otopalatodigital syndromes (OPD1, OPD2), frontometaphyseal dysplasia (FMD), Melnick-Needles syndrome (MNS), and X-linked congenital idiopathic intestinal pseudoobstruction (CIIPX). Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
