|Background||GPBAR1/TGR5 is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family (GPCRs, or GPRs) which contain 7 transmembrane domains and transduce extracellular signals through heterotrimeric G proteins. GPCR TGR5 is a receptor for bile acids. Bile acid-binding induces its internalization, activation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase and intracellular cAMP production. Western Blot: 2-4 μg/mL. Immunohistochemistry on Paraffin Sections: 10 μg/mL. This antibody was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigenretrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides wereincubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkalinephosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by apathologist to confirm staining specificity.
