Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide 1 (Pituitary) Proteins

This gene encodes a secreted proprotein that is further processed into multiple mature peptides. These peptides stimulate adenylate cyclase and increase cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) levels, resulting in the transcriptional activation of target genes.
