Application Notes
-
ELISA: To detect hGM-CSF by direct ELISA (using 100 l/well antibody solution) thisantibody can be used at a concentration of 0.15 - 0.30 μg/mL. Used in conjunction withcompatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2 ng/well of recombinanthGM-CSF. Western Blot: To detect hGM-CSF by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at aconcentration of 0.1 - 0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagentsthe detection limit for recombinant hGM-CSF is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing ornon-reducing conditions.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user. -

Background
- The cytokine GM-CSF stimulates the growth and differentiation of hematopoietic precursor cells from various lineages, including granulocytes, macrophages, eosinophils and erythrocytes. Used in myeloid reconstitution following bone marrow transplant, bone marrow transplant engraftment failure or delay, mobilization and following transplantation of autologous peripheral blood progenitor cells, and following induction chemotherapy in older adults with acute myelogenous leukemia.Synonyms: CSF2, Colony stimulating factor 2, GMCSF, Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor, Molgramostin, Sargramostim
