Application Notes: ELISA: To detect hIL-12 by direct ELISA (using 100 ml/well antibody solution) this antibodycan be used at a concentration of 0.15 - 0.30 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatiblesecondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2 ng/well of recombinant hIL-12. Western Blot: To detect hIL-12 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at aconcentration of 0.1 - 0.2 mg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagentsthe detection limit for recombinant hIL-12 is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing ornon-reducing conditions.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Background: Interleukin 12 (IL12) can act as a growth factor for activated T and NK cells, enhance the lytic activity of NK/lymphokine activated killer cells, and stimulate the production of IFN gamma by resting PBMC.
