Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against purified and partially purified Acetyl Cholinesterase [Bovine Erythrocytes]. Cross reactivity against Acetyl Cholinesterase from other sources is unknown.
Purification
Prepared from monospecific antiserum by a delipidation and defibrination.
Suitable for Immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot), ELISA, Immunoprecipitation and mostimmunological methods requiring high titer and specificity. Recommended Diutions: This product has been assayed against 1.0 g of AcetylCholinesterase [Bovine Erythrocytes] in a standard sandwich ELISA using Peroxidaseconjugated Affinity Purified anti-Goat IgG [H&L] (Goat) and (ABTS(2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes atroom temperature. A working dilution of 1: 20,000 to 1: 100,000 of the reconstitution concentration issuggested for this product. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
