Specificity
- Reacts specifically with the STAT 5b protein and does not exhibit any cross-reactivity with the highly related STAT 5a protein. Cross-reactivity with other endogenous STAT isoforms has not been observed. Species cross-reactivity: Human, mouse and rat. Reactivity of this antibody with STAT5b has been confirmed by Western blotting using cell lysates derived from human A431 cells (+/-EGF treatment), NIH 3T3 cells, MCF-7 cells and HeLa cells.
