Flow Cytometry (FACS)

Clone

4B12
  • Purpose

    Anti-Ms CD197 PE

    Specificity

The rat monoclonal antibody 4B12 recognizes an extracellular epitope of murine CD197 / CCR7 (chemokine receptor 7), a 43 kDa G-protein-coupled receptor for chemokines CCL19 and CCL21.

    Cross-Reactivity (Details)

    Mouse

    Purification

Purified antibody is conjugated with R-phycoerythrin (PE) under optimum conditions. Unconjugated antibody and free fluorochrome are removed by size-exclusion chromatography.

    Immunogen

    Murine CD197-transfected RBL-2H3 cells

    Isotype

    IgG2a kappa

    Alternative Name

    CD197

    Background

Chemokine (C-C motif) receptor 7,CD197 / CCR7 (chemokine receptor 7) is a seven membrane-spanning protein serving as a receptor for chemokines CCL19 and CCL21. It is expressed on most naive T cells, some hematopoietic stem cells, mature dendritic cells, NK cells and some memory T cells and B cells subsets. CD197 plays important roles in development of thymocytes, and regulating the recirculation and homing of lymphocytes and dendritic cells to secondary lymphoid organs.,CCR7, CC-CKR-7, EBI1
