Specificity: Affinity studies by Scatchard analysis showed that HLA-B27 antibody has a higher affinity for HLA-B27 (9.7 x 10^8M-1) than for HLA B7 (9.5 x 10^7 M-1). Subjects Expected Fluorescence Intensity Heterozygous HLA-B27+ Strong Homozygous HLA-B27+ Strong Heterozygous HLA-B7+ Faint Non B27, Non B7 Negative.

Purification: Ion exchange chromatography

Immunogen: Immune complex precipitated from HLA-B27 positive cell line (Bordin) by anti HLA-antibody and Staphylococcal Protein A.
