Background: ELK1 is a member of the Ets family of transcription factors and of the ternary complex factor (TCF) subfamily. ELK1 is a nuclear target for the ras-raf-MAPK signaling cascade.This gene is a member of the Ets family of transcription factors and of the ternary complex factor (TCF) subfamily.
