The Mouse Monoclonal anti-Prostate Specific Antigen antibody (Clone TD11B3-4) (ABIN264051) specifically detects Prostate Specific Antigen in IHC (p) and IHC (fro).
The antibody is reactive with Human samples.
Immunohistochemistry on frozen or paraffin sections. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Background
PSA is a tumor-associated antigen with a molecular weight of 34 kDa. The antigen is found in normal prostatic epithelial lining cells of the ducts and acini, as well as in primary and metastatic prostate carcinoma cells. PSA reactivity may also be found in BPH (benign prostatic hypertrophy), though the pattern of staining is different than that found in carcinoma tissues. The staining pattern ranges from cytoplasmic and secretory in normal and benign prostate to cytoplasmic with membrane in neoplastic prostate.Synonyms: Gamma-seminoprotein, P-30 antigen, Prostate-specific antigen, Semenogelase
