Immunofluorescence (IF), Flow Cytometry (FACS)

Clone

PC10
  • Specificity

This antibody recognises the proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), a nuclear protein vital for cellular DNA synthesis.

    Characteristics

Synonyms: Cyclin, Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen

    Purification

    Affinity chromatography on Protein G

    Immunogen

Rat PCNA made in the protein A expression vector pR1T2T.

    Isotype

    IgG2a
  • Application Notes

Flow cytometry: Neat - 1: 10, Use 10 μL of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells in 100 μL, Cell permeabilisation is required for this application.
    Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

    Restrictions

    For Research Use only
  • Concentration

    0.1 mg/mL

    Buffer

PBS containing 0.09 % Sodium Azide and 1 % Bovine Serum Albumin

    Preservative

    Sodium azide

    Precaution of Use

WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.

    Handling Advice

Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. This product is photosensitive and should be protected from light.
