Application
-
-
Specificity
- This antibody specifically reacts with luciferase protein, a reporter used to quantify expression levels from promoters in tissue culture and in vivo. Reactivity was confirmed via Western Blot analysis on the following samples containing added purified luciferase protein: mouse heart, liver, kidney, and cortex tissues. There was no cross reactivity to mouse heart, NIH3T3, Jurkat, and human fibroblasts. In IHC (frozen tissue) and Immunofluorescence applications, our antibody was able to detect tissue specific expression of Luciferase protein in Drosophila embryos using the well-characterized Gal4-UAS system with two different Gal4 drivers.
