Specificity

The antibody detects endogenous level of b-Catenin only when phosphorylated at threonine 41/serine 45.

Purification

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.

Immunogen

Peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of pThr 41, pSer45 (A-T-T (p) -T-A-P-S (p) -L-S) derived from Human b-Catenin. Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates.
