Specificity: The antibody detects endogenous level of EGFR only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 869.

Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.

Immunogen: Peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of pTyr869 (K-E-Y (p) -H-A) derived from Human EGFR. Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates.
