The Mouse Monoclonal anti-ICAM-3/CD50 antibody is suitable to detect ICAM-3/CD50 in samples from Human. It has been validated for FACS, WB, IF, IP, ICC, IHC (fro) and EIA.
ELISA. Western Blot. Immunoprecipitation. Flow Cytometry. Immunocytochemistry. Immunohistochemistry on Frozen Sections. Recommended Dilutions: 1/100-1/200 for Flow Cytometry, and for Immunohistochemistry with avidin-biotinylated horseradish peroxidase complex (ABC) as detection reagent, and 1/100-1/1000 for Immunoblotting applications.
Intercellular adhesion molecule 3 (ICAM3) also known as CD50 (Cluster of Differentiation 50), is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein, which normally contain 2-9 immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains, and binds to the leukocyte adhesion LFA-1 protein. This protein is constitutively and abundantly expressed by all leucocytes and may be the most important ligand for LFA-1 in the initiation of the immune response. It functions not only as an adhesion molecule, but also as a potent signalling molecule. ICAM-3 has previously been implicated in apoptotic cell clearance, although its precise role in the clearance process is ill defined.
