Alternative Name MDK (MDK Antibody Abstract)
Background

Target Description: MDK gene encodes a member of a small family of secreted growth factors that binds heparin and responds to retinoic acid. The encoded protein promotes cell growth, migration, and angiogenesis, in particular during tumorigenesis. This gene has been targeted as a therapeutic for a variety of different disorders. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed.

Pathways RTK Signaling, M Phase, Skeletal Muscle Fiber Development
Application Notes ELISA (recommended dilution= 1:320,000), Western Blotting (recommended dilution= 1:1,000-5,000)
Restrictions For Research Use only
Reconstitution A separate vial of dilution buffer is provided for reconstitution. The antibody is supplied lyophilized, originally containing PBS, without preservative stabilizers (e. g. sodium azide). The final amount is indicated on the shipping vial.
