Anti-Replication Factor C p37 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Specificity
This antibody recognizes the p37 subunit of human and yeast (S. cerevisiae) Replication Factor C (RFC). RFC is a heteropentameric protein consisting of p140, p40, p38, p37, and p36 subunits, RFC participates in targeting DNA polymerase delta processivity factor (PCNA) on to a primed DNA template during DNA synthesis and repair. RFC has also been associated with DNA repair in conjunction with a PCNA-like heterotrimer of Hus1, Rad1, and Rad9.

Background
Replication factor C subunit 2,The elongation of primed DNA templates by DNA polymerase delta and epsilon requires the action of the accessory proteins proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) and activator 1. This subunit binds ATP (By similarity). {ECO:0000250}.,Nucleus,Activator 1 40 kDa subunit, A1 40 kDa subunit, Activator 1 subunit 2, Replication factor C 40 kDa subunit, RF-C 40 kDa subunit, RFC40
