Background: PML is a transcription factor and tumor supressor which belongs to the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. This motif contains three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. PML regulates the response of p53 to oncogenic signals. It is often involved in a chromosomal translocation between chromosomes 15 and 17 which results in a PML/RARalpha fusion protein and is associated with most cases of acute promyelocytic leukemia. Anti-PML Antibody is ideal for research in Gene Expression, Cell Cycle Control and Cancer.
