    Positive Control: HEK293, HeLA or A-431 cells, Human normal lung or bladder tissue.

    Known Application: Flow Cytometry (0.5-1 μg/million cells), Immunofluorescence (1-2 μg/mL), Western Blot (0.5-1 μg/mL), Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed) (0.5-1 μg/mL for 30 min at RT)(Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10 mM Citrate Buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes)Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined.

    Background
    This gene is the putative transforming gene of avian sarcoma virus 17. It encodes a protein which is highly similar to the viral protein, and which interacts directly with specific target DNA sequences to regulate gene expression. This gene is intronless and is mapped to 1p32-p31, a chromosomal region involved in both translocations and deletions in human malignancies.
